    Q:
How to remove the front shock absorber with coil spring on Toyota Sienna? Posted by Customer
    A:
The first step for shock absorber removal with coil spring includes taking off the front wheel and removing both the front wiper arm head cap and the right and left front wiper arms. Cowl top ventilator louver sub-assembly along with windshield wiper motor & link assembly need to be removed next. Divide your work by taking off the cowl top panel sub-assembly outer front through wire harness detachment before carefully removing 9 bolts together with the cowl top brace. The LH front section of front stabilizer link assembly requires removal by undoing its nut which releases the assembly from shock absorber assembly front LH while using a hexagon (6 mm) wrench to stabilize the stud when the ball joint turns with the nut. After loosening the lock nut on the front shock absorber with coil spring users should keep it in place except for complete disassembly needs. First disconnect the front flexible hose No.1 and speed sensor front LH by removing the bolt then loosen the 2 nuts and 2 bolts securing the lower part of the front shock absorber with coil spring after holding the nut to maintain bolt stability during removal. The final step requires removing the front shock absorber with coil spring by taking off its 3 upper side nuts.
