The first step to uninstall the FRONT NO. 2 SPEAKER from the LH side is to disconnect the negative battery cable followed by a minimum 90-second wait period before proceeding. Begin by taking off the FRONT DOOR LOWER FRAME BRACKET GARNISH LH, FRONT ARMREST BASE PANEL UPPER LH, FRONT DOOR TRIM BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY LH and FRONT DOOR SERVICE HOLE COVER LH. The speaker removal begins with unconnecting the cable before taking out the FRONT NO. 2 SPEAKER ASSEMBLY LH by loosening both the nut and the speaker. Install the FRONT NO. 2 SPEAKER ASSEMBLY LH with the nut while torquing it to 8.0 N.m (82 kgf.cm, 71 in.lbf) and then reconnect the connector. First install the FRONT DOOR SERVICE HOLE COVER LH followed by the FRONT DOOR TRIM BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY and subsequent installations of FRONT DOOR LOWER FRAME BRACKET GARNISH LH, FRONT ARMREST BASE PANEL UPPER LH. The connection of the cable must proceed to the negative battery terminal before system initialization which may be needed after disconnecting and reconnecting the cable.

Reconnect the cable to the negative battery terminal and perform initialization, as certain systems require this after reconnecting the battery.
