The initial step in HVAC compressor replacement requires emptying HFC-134A using Special Service Tool: 07110-58060 (07117-58080, 07117-58090, 07117-78050, 07117-88060, 07117-88070, 07117-88080). Detach V (cooler compressor to crankshaft pulley) belt No.1 before extracting cooler refrigerant suction hose No.1 through its bolt and O-ring by securing the openings with vinyl tape. The procedure continues with cooler refrigerant discharge hose No.1 by unwinding its nut and O-ring before applying vinyl tape to seal the exposed opening. Factory Service Manual of your car suggests under cover No.1 removal followed by unplugging the connector and clamp then discarding bolts and a nut and the cooler compressor bracket while ending with compressor and magnetic clutch bolt removal. The required drain amount of compressor oil from the new unit should be between 120-135 ml less than the existing assembly oil content. Keep compressor oil use to ND-OIL 8. After torquing the 3 compressor plus magnetic clutch mounting bolts to 24.5 N.m (250 kgf.cm, 18 ft.lbf), install the cooler compressor bracket with its 2 bolts and one nut before reconnecting the connector and clamp. Fasten cooler refrigerant discharge hose No.1 using a new O-ring with compressor oil on both surfaces before securing it with its nut tightened to 9.8 N.m (100 kgf.cm, 87 in.lbf). The same procedure must be repeated for cooler refrigerant suction hose No.1 while applying compressor oil but tightening the bolt to 9.8 N.m (100 kgf.cm, 87 in.lbf). The operator should replace V (cooler compressor to crankshaft pulley) belt No.1 after adjustments followed by a complete tightening of the belt. The refrigerant needs to be charged using Special Service Tool: 07110-58060 (07117-58060, 07117-58070, 07117-58080, 07117-58090, 07117-78050, 07117-88070, 07117-88080) to maintain a level of 650 plus or minus 50 g (22.93 plus or minus 1.76 oz.) while warming the engine until scrutinizing for refrigerant leaks.

Install with the three bolts, nut, and stud bolt, torquing to 24.5 N.m, and reconnect the connector.
