    The alternator replacement begins with Special Service Tool: 09249-63010 to remove the fan combined with the generator V belt. Before proceeding start by disconnecting the engine wire according to its illustration while removing the three bolts that secure the generator assembly [27020]. Position the crank position sensor wire harness correctly when installing according to the alignment image and afterwards follow these torque requirements for bolt installation: M8 at 21 N.m (214 kgf.cm, 15 ft.lbf), M10 at 52 N.m (530 kgf.cm, 38 ft.lbf) and the wiring harness clamp needs 8.4 N.m (85 kgf.cm, 74 in.lbf) and alternator wire needs 9.8 N.m (100 kgf.cm, 7 ft.lbf). Avoid crushing the wire harness while performing the alternator mounting procedure. The fan and generator V belt installation requires the use of Special Service Tool: 09249-63010.
