Start rear brake rotor/disc servicing and repairs by first removing the rear wheel then securing the disc with the hub nuts while torquing them to 103 Nm (1,050 kgf-cm, 76 ft. lbs.). You must remove the union bolt to disconnect the parking brake cable and flexible hose from the caliper while using a torque of 30 Nm (310 kgf-cm, 22 ft. lbs.) and placing the drained brake fluid in a container before inserting the flexible hose lock properly into its lock hole for reassembly. Once the installation bolt is removed by applying a torque of 20 Nm (204 kgf-cm, 15 ft. lbs.), proceed to extract both pads and their accompanying 4 anti-squeal shims before removing the 4 pad support plates.

Begin by removing the front wheel and temporarily fastening the disc with the hub nuts, ensuring a torque of 103 Nm (1,050 kgf-cm, 76 ft. lbs.).
