Radiator Assembly

The last step requires removal of the radiator drain cock together with unfastening the two radiator reserve tank hose grommets.

Detach the radiator reservoir tank hose from the water filler following a removal of radiator hose No. 3 using the clips. Automatic transaxle models require disconnecting oil cooler outlet and inlet hoses when their clips are loosened. The removal of radiator assembly for vehicles with air conditioning starts with separating cooling fan motor connector wires before disengaging the 2 claws to complete the process. People who lack air conditioning should execute the same radiator assembly removal procedure. The service procedure requires removal of radiator hose No. 2 followed by the oil cooler outlet and inlet hoses as well as the disengagement of 2 claws to separate the fan shroud then extraction of both radiator support cushions from the radiator assembly. Repeat this step by removing both radiator reserve tank hose grommets and the radiator drain cock that are installed on the radiator assembly.

Install the No. 1 cooler cover with 2 clips.

Remove the engine under covers on both the left and right sides, then drain the engine coolant.

Connect the cooling fan motor connector and install the wire harness clamp.

Connect the oil cooler inlet and outlet hoses, and radiator hose No. 2, then install radiator hose No. 3 with 2 clips.

Engage the 2 claws to install the fan shroud.

Ensure the ignition is off before working near the electric cooling fans or radiator grille.

Install it with 4 bolts, torqued to 5.5 Nm (56 kgf-cm, 49 in-lbf), and connect the horn assembly connector.
