Install two new claw washers on the steering rack end subassembly, using Special Service Tool: 09922-10010 for the LH side, torquing to 84 Nm (852 kgf-cm, 62 ft. lbs.) without the tool or 60 Nm (613 kgf-cm, 44 ft. lbs.) with it. Repeat for the RH side, stake the claw washers, and ensure the rack ends are not clogged with grease.
