Oxygen Sensor, Passenger Side

Attach the heated oxygen sensor for Bank 2 Sensor 2 to the front exhaust pipe by using Special Service Tool: 09224-00010 and applying torque of 40 Nm (408 kgf-cm, 30 ft-lbf) or 44 Nm (449 kgf-cm, 32 ft-lbf) using a torque wrench with a 30 cm (11.81 in.) fulcrum while maintaining the line of alignment between the tool and wrench. After installing two fresh gaskets on the front exhaust pipe assembly you must bolt it with two fasteners at 43 Nm (440 kgf-cm, 32 ft-lbf) and two nuts at 62 Nm (632 kgf-cm, 46 ft-lbf). Secure the No. 1 exhaust pipe support bracket with 2 new nuts while torquing them to 21 Nm (214 kgf-cm, 15 ft-lbf), then connect the heated oxygen sensor (for Bank 2 Sensor 2) connector. Follow these steps to install the heated oxygen sensor for Bank 1 Sensor 2 using Service Tool: 09224-00010 and apply the same torque values before connecting its sensor connector. The last step includes reattaching the cable to the negative battery terminal followed by an examination for possible exhaust gas leaks.

Disconnect the sensor connector and use Special Service Tool: 09224-00010 to remove the sensor from the exhaust manifold.

They should be aligned straight.

Remove the front exhaust pipe assembly by disconnecting the heated oxygen sensor connector for Bank 2 Sensor 2, then remove the 2 bolts, 2 compression springs, and 6 nuts.
