The removal of the rear wiper motor begins by taking off the back door trim board and the back door service hole cover LH. Remove the rear wiper arm head cap by unclipping its four claws followed by disabling the nut to take away the wiper arm. Then remove the rear wiper motor grommet from the device. The 2 grommets together with the 3 bolts need to be removed to take out the rear wiper motor assembly. Greatly apply a clip remover tool to detach the clamp before you disconnect the connector to take out the rear wiper motor assembly completely.

Service of the rear wiper motor begins with removing the back door trim board and back door service hole cover on the left-hand side. Detaching the rear wiper arm head cap begins with releasing all 4 claws followed by removing its nut and rear wiper arm. The service begins with removing the rear wiper motor grommet followed by the removal of the assembly which requires extraction of two grommets and three bolts together with a clip remover to detach the clamp and disconnecting the connector. First attach the three bolts to the rear wiper motor assembly while applying 5.5 N.m torque then reinstall the clamp and rejoin the connector and complete the installation process. Placing the rear wiper motor grommet requires following its position mark upward. For rear wiper arm installation users must eliminate the serration section using a round file before cleaning the rear wiper pivot serrations with a wire brush when stopping the rear wiper motor assembly at automatic stop position. Use the slider to hold it at "A" before adding the complete arm & blade assembly with its nut at position "B" when tightening it to 5.5 N.m (56 kgf.cm, 49 in.lbf). You should grip the arm hinge during the process of tightening the nut. Check the wiping operation and body clearance of the rear wiper unit by running it with water or washer fluid applied until the rise-up position is reached before restoring the back door service hole cover LH.

Install it with its position mark facing upwards.

Operate the rear wiper while running water or washer fluid over the window to ensure the rear wiper does not hit the vehicle body.

Install the rear wiper motor grommet with its position mark facing up.

Remove the front wiper arm head cap by using a small screwdriver to take out the 2 caps, ensuring to tape the screwdriver tip beforehand.

Remove the clips and disengage the meshing of the clips and claws.

Use a screwdriver to disengage the meshing of 2 rods at the clank arm pivot, then remove the 2 bolts.

Install it with its position mark facing upwards.
