    Bend to open the spring clips and pry up the 2 spring clips with a chisel and hammer, then remove the center bolt and nut while holding the spring in a vise. Replace the spring clip by drilling off the head of the rivet and driving it out, then install a new rivet and secure it with a press. Reinstall the spring center bolt and nut, aligning the leaf spring holes and securing the leaves in a vise, and torque to 44 Nm (450 kgf-cm, 33 ft. lbs.). Bend the spring clips back into position with a hammer.
