Flex Hose, Rear Driver Side

Start the process of installing the rear flexible hose by fastening it with a new clip. The brake tube will be connected to the flexible hose through the use of a union nut wrench to which you should apply 15 Nm torque (155 kgf-cm, 11 ft-lbf) when the wrench is not present but only 14 Nm torque (144 kgf-cm, 10 ft-lbf) when the wrench is present. Achieve the specified torque value using a torque wrench with 300 mm (11.8 in.) fulcrum length and this torque measurement should occur while the wrench is parallel to a 22 mm (0.866 in.) union nut wrench. Place the flexible hose onto the disc brake cylinder and fit it with a new gasket before torquing the union bolt up to 31 Nm (316 kgf-cm, 23 ft-lbf). The procedure for the front brake tube flexible hose includes attachment with two new clips while following specified torque measurements. During the installation you should add brake fluid to the reservoir before bleeding the brake line completely and examining the fluid level and brake fluid leak points. The procedure concludes with installing the rear wheel while torquing it to 112 Nm (1,137 kgf-cm, 82 ft-lbf).
