    Wear protective gloves because the parts contain sharp edges before starting the front seat cushion heater removal process. The first step requires removing the front seat assembly on the left hand side. The work starts with removing the slide and vertical power seat switch knob LH and moves to the reclining power seat switch knob LH. Start by uninstalling both the front seat cushion shield LH together with the front seat inner belt assembly LH. Next in the sequence remove the front seat cushion shield inner LH and the front power seat switch LH. Separate both seat cushion covers which contain pads at this time. The first cover contains the leg support adjustment switch and the other sans the adjustment option. Separate front seat cushion covers (having the leg support adjustment switch and not having the leg support adjustment switch) are to be removed if they apply. You must complete the removal process by cutting 30 tack pins securing the seat heater to the seat cushion cover before taking out the front seat cushion heater assembly LH.

    Start the FRONT SEAT CUSHION HEATER (w/ Seat Heater System) removal process on the LH side by wearing protective gloves since there are sharp areas on seat frame and adjuster. The first step requires dismantling of the FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY LH. The first step is to remove the SLIDE AND VERTICAL POWER SEAT SWITCH KNOB LH and then follow it by the removal of the RECLINING POWER SEAT SWITCH KNOB LH. Begin by taking away the FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD LH followed by the FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY LH. Then detach the INNER FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD LH before moving on to the FRONT POWER SEAT SWITCH LH. After that remove the FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER WITH PAD LH followed by the SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER LH. To complete the task remove the FRONT SEAT CUSHION HEATER ASSEMBLY LH.

    The installation of FRONT SEATBACK HEATER (w/ Seat Heater System) on the LH side begins by wearing protective gloves because the seat frame and adjuster have sharp areas. You should start your installation process with the FRONT SEATBACK HEATER ASSEMBLY LH. A sequence begins with the installation of the SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK COVER LH before attaching the FRONT SEATBACK COVER WITH PAD LH to the frame of the seatback. The installation procedure starts with hog ring pliers which replace old hog rings on the seat frame while the 4 claws for the 2 headrest supports get attached and the seatback cover bracket finds its place on the frame with a nut torqued to 5.5 Nm (56 kgf-cm, 49 in-lbf). Keep the side Air Bag strap untwisted when installing the seatback trim cover. After installing the seatback cover wires proceed to use hog ring pliers for additional hog rings while attaching the hook and securing the wire harness clamp and connecting the seat heater connector. The installation order consists of the INNER FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD LH and then the FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY LH followed by the FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD LH along with the RECLINING POWER SEAT SWITCH KNOB LH and the SLIDE AND VERTICAL POWER SEAT SWITCH KNOB LH. The installation of FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY LH completes the procedure.
