To repair the coupe windshield you have to take off components such as inner mirror and headliner while also lowering the roof headlining just part way. Take the cowl top ventilator louver out by first detaching the front wiper arms and the louver itself. Use a knife to cut off the windshield moulding outer upper from the vehicle body while protecting the vehicle surface and removing all pieces. Install protective tape on the vehicle before putting wires between the glass and body. String handles on wire ends and vigorously cut the adhesive without harming vehicle parts. Separate the windshield glass from its body by disengaging the stoppers at marked positions and pulling out the glass using suction with remaining adhesive left on the vehicle body. Periodically remove damaged pieces of stoppers and adhesive from the windshield glass before using white gasoline to clean the edges carefully. Use a knife to remove surplus adhesive then apply cleaning solution on the body surface. Seal the windshield with new stops No. 2 using Primer G before placing the two stoppers on the glass. Mount two fresh stoppers to the vehicle body area of windshield glass stopper No. 1. Install two new retainers on the windshield glass then put Primer G on the adhesive dams and let it dry before applying double-sided tape to the edge of the glass. Secure the windshield glass onto the car using a suction cup while keeping it flat and making matchmarks with fresh glass surfaces. Put Primer M on the vehicle body surface that shows and Primer G on the glass contact area before they dry. Put Part No. 08850-00801 adhesive or its equivalent on the glass surface before the cartridge nozzle dries out in its specified time period. Place the glass at the marked positions while gently pressing it against the area before covering the weak spots with protective tape until the glue solidifies. Apply Primer G to the glass contact surface before placing the new windshield moulding outer upper and check for leaks when the adhesive has set to fix leaking areas with auto glass sealer.

Use a suction cup to remove the windshield glass while leaving as much adhesive on the vehicle body as possible.

Position the windshield glass using a suction cup, ensuring the contact surface is even, and place matchmarks if the glass is new.

Cut away excess adhesive and use a cleaner.

Install two new stoppers onto the glass and two new stoppers to the vehicle body.

Apply Primer G to the contact surface of the windshield glass for the outer upper moulding, allowing it to dry for 3 minutes before installing the new moulding.
