Begin the windshield glass installation by applying Primer G to No. 2 windshield glass stoppers followed by a 3-minute drying period until you discard the extra substance. Position both new windshield glass stoppers of type No. 2 to the windshield pane before placing type No. 1 windshield glass stoppers to the vehicle body. Apply Primer G on the windshield glass adhesive dam's application area before the installation step which should start at the dam reference line when the material has dried for 3 minutes. Use suction cups to position the windshield glass by keeping the contact surface level as you align the matchmarks before removing the glass from the suction cups. Prime the vehicle body using Primer M on the installation area while skipping the adhesive zone until the surface becomes dry for 3 minutes. Primer G application to the adhesive region should be followed by allowing it to dry fully before applying Toyota Genuine Windshield Glass Adhesive or equivalent with a nozzle-cut to the glass surface. Attach the windshield glass through the matchmarks while letting the edges rest softly on the rim until you confirm the stoppers are locked in position and verify the desired space. You should gently push down on the glass front surface while placing protective tape across it to let the adhesive harden until it is ready to remove. Evaluate the adhesive's dryness by applying exterior water pressure. Spot any leakage and dry the affected area then apply additional adhesive before removing protective tape. The usage of the front roof headlining section should be followed by the installation sequence of visor holder and front assist grip sub-assemblies with visor assemblies and map light assemblies and front pillar garnishes and door opening trim Weather Strips and inner rear view mirror assemblies and cowl top ventilator louvers and hood to cowl top seal and front wiper arm and blade assemblies.

Pass a piano wire between the vehicle body and glass from the interior, tying the ends to wooden blocks for handles.
