The first step to replace rear wiper rubber starts with removing the rear wiper blade by unclipping the rear wiper arm head cap followed by raising the wiper blade until it clicks off the claw keeping the claw intact. Begin by pulling the wiper blade directly toward the left of the vehicle to detach it properly but make sure the wiper arm remains in an elevated position with the blade removed to prevent rear door glass surface damages. Carefully pull the rubber protrusion at the wiper blade stopper while avoiding strong pulling motions to stop both backing plates from warping or the claw from getting damaged; minimal rubber pushes toward the center can assist in the removal process. After removing the original rear wiper rubber backing plates, you should position the new ones in the correct direction before installation. Place wiper rubber into the front end of the blade before using the second claw to move it through the rear end stopper which lets the rubber extend from the end of the claw. Push the rubber from the claw and along the front end claw for installation. Proceed to insert the wiper blade directly to the right side of the car and position it onto the wiper arm while being cautious about claw damage and then secure the rear wiper head cap.

Take out the wiper rubber along with the backing plates from the front wiper blade, and then remove the rubber from the two backing plates.
