Slave Cylinder

The process of clutch slave cylinder replacement includes draining clutch fluid before the replacement begins. The flexible hose tube attachment of the clutch release cylinder requires a union nut wrench to disconnect it. You should finish by taking out the 2 bolts and pulling the clutch release cylinder assembly from its position.

Service and repair procedures for Clutch Slave Cylinder start with removing the filler cap and float from the reservoir followed by pumping away brake fluid with a syringe until every painted surface is without fluid residue. Any fluid causing paint discoloration must be washed off immediately. Begin by removing the clutch housing cover through bolting out its 3 fasteners. The second step requires detachment of the clutch accumulator by unbolting the clamp while utilizing Special Service Tool: 09023-00101 to drain fluid from clutch lines. Catch the fluid in a container during this process before proceeding to unclip three clutch accumulator fasteners. Take out the 2 bolts which fasten the clutch release cylinder in its position.

Secure it with the 2 bolts, ensuring a torque of 12 Nm (120 kgf-cm, 8.7 ft-lbf).

Use a union nut wrench to disconnect the flexible hose tube.

Coat the piston with lithium soap base glycol grease.

Torque it to 11 Nm (110 kgf-cm, 8.0 ft. lbs.).

Remove the bleeder plug.

Attach the clutch release cylinder assembly with the 2 bolts, torquing them to 12 Nm (120 kgf-cm, 8.7 ft. lbs.), then connect the clutch release cylinder to the flexible hose tube using Special Service Tool: 09023-00101 and torque it to 15 Nm (155 kgf-cm, 11 ft. lbs.).
