    Q:
How to remove and install the rear Seat Belt assembly for the double cab on Toyota Tundra? Posted by Customer
    A:
Before removing the double cab's rear seat outer belt assembly you must first uninstall the rear seat and next remove the rear door scuff plate together with the rear door opening trim Weather Strip. The process to remove the lower quarter trim panel assembly requires removal of the outer lap belt anchor cover together with the bolt and seat belt anchor and six clips that secure the quarter trim panel. After removing the front quarter trim panel assembly start the process of taking off the rear seat outer belt assembly through the procedure of bolt and shoulder anchor removal followed by seat belt shoulder anchor disconnection and two bolt elimination securing the seat belt. To install the seat belt position its holes with the vehicle's claws then use two bolts so that the first bolt goes above before the second bolt below applying torque to Bolt A at 7.5 N.m (76 kgf.cm, 66 in.lbf) and Bolt B at 42 N.m (428 kgf.cm, 31 ft.lbf). The shoulder anchor requires bolt installation while the bolt torque reaches 42 N.m (428 kgf.cm, 31 ft.lbf). First install the front quarter trim panel assembly and then set up the lower quarter trim panel assembly by clipping in six pieces before installing the seat belt anchor with bolt torque at 42 N.m (428 kgf.cm, 31 ft.lbf) and attaching the two claws to hold the outer lap belt anchor cover into position. Place the rear door scuff plate while you set in the rear seat assembly.
