The first step entails removing the LH rear trailing arm assembly by disconnecting its 3 bolts and nut combined with trailing arm installation from the axle carrier and suspension arm bracket while actively fixing the nut position before removing the bolt. Installation of the rear trailing arm assembly LH requires users to install the trailing arm with 3 bolts and the nut to the axle carrier and suspension arm bracket then fix the nut while tightening the bolt. The next installation step requires fitting the No. 2 parking brake cable along with the rear wheel but with a torque setting of 103 Nm (1,050 kgf-cm, 76 ft. lbs.). The very end procedure involves tightening the rear trailing arm assembly LH by applying 200 Nm (2,039 kgf-cm, 148 ft. lbs.) torque to its suspension arm bracket bolts and closing the nut and doing a rear wheel alignment check if required.

The LH side rear trailing arm assembly should be mounted onto the axle carrier and suspension arm bracket by using three bolts with a nut while torquing the bolt to secure the nut. You should now install the No. 2 parking brake cable assembly. The rear wheel installation should be done with 103 Nm (1,050 kgf-cm, 76 ft-lbf) torque. Tighten the LH side rear trailing arm assembly by securing its 3 bolts and nut to their respective torque values of 200 Nm (2,039 kgf-cm, 148 ft-lbf) and 150 Nm (1,530 kgf-cm, 111 ft-lbf). The checklist includes an examination and adjustment step for the rear wheel alignment.

Remove the 3 bolts and nut securing the trailing arm to the axle carrier and suspension arm bracket, ensuring to hold the nut in place while loosening and removing the bolt.

Temporarily tighten the rear trailing arm assembly by installing it with the 3 bolts and nut to the axle carrier and suspension arm bracket, again fixing the nut in place while tightening the bolt.

The rear wheel should be installed with a torque of 103 Nm (1,050 kgf-cm, 76 ft-lbf).
