Fix the generator assembly by screwing in two bolts which need a torque setting of 43 Nm (438 kgf-cm, 32 ft-lbf). The procedure requires using a bolt to screw in the wire harness clamp bracket and setting the bolt torque to 8.2 Nm (84 kgf-cm, 73 in-lbf) while later connecting the wire harness clamp to the bracket. The generator wire should be connected with a nut that reaches 9.8 Nm torque strength (100 kgf-cm, 87 in-lbf) before installing the terminal cap. The wire harness clamp bracket needs a nut to secure it while torquing at 8.0 Nm (82 kgf-cm, 71 in-lbf). After the installation of fan and generator V belt proceed with the No. 1 engine under cover sub-assembly and V-bank cover. The last procedure involves installing the battery and connecting the cable to the negative terminal while recognizing specific systems need initialization after cable reattachment.

Disconnect the cable from the negative battery terminal and wait at least 90 seconds after turning the ignition switch OFF.

Remove the battery, followed by the V-bank cover, and then the No. 1 engine under cover sub-assembly.
