To deploy an SRS Air Bag along with side Air Bag assembly disposal, begin by utilizing the Special Service Tool 09082-00700 (SRS Air Bag Deployment Tool) in an open environment at a minimum distance of 10 meters (33 feet) from the assembly in order to protect adjacent residents. Check the Special Service Tool: 09082-00700 functions by removing the side Air Bag connector yet protect the wire harness then set the Special Service Tool: 09082-00700 and 09082-00750 into the connector but do not activate the tool's second locking mechanism. Take the Special Service Tool 10 m (33 ft) back from the vehicle front then lock all doors and windows and attach the red clip to battery + and connect the black clip to battery -. Nobody should occupy the vehicle or stand inside a 10 m (33 ft) radius before activating the deployment switch because the Air Bag inflates at the same time as the LED illumination. Maintain a 30-minute cooling period for the side Air Bag assembly afterward deployment before handling with gloves and safety glasses while keeping water away from it and performing thorough hand-washing after. The Air Bag activation process must begin before vehicle scrapping starts yet the side Air Bag assembly needs to stay installed throughout these operations.

The side airbag assembly will be very hot, so it must be left alone for at least 30 minutes, and gloves and safety glasses should be worn when handling it.

Avoid touching the slider while it moves.

Deploy the airbag with the steering wheel pad still installed, and use gloves and safety glasses when moving the vehicle for scrapping.

Dispose of the front seat airbag assembly, wash hands with water afterward, and avoid applying water to the deployed airbag assembly.

Wait at least 30 minutes before handling the deployed airbag.
