The Hydraulic Control Assembly for Antilock Brakes requires drain of brake fluid before deletion and requires limping all the contacting paint. Start the procedure by taking out the cowl top ventilator louver center followed by the battery and its tray and carrier. When removing the brake actuator assembly without Vehicle Stability system disconnect the connector while unlocking the lever but avoid letting brake fluid get inside. Use a union nut wrench to remove and label six brake tubes from the brake actuator. The first tube should be routed to the front wheel RH while the second goes to the front wheel LH and the third leads to the rear wheel RH followed by the fourth which goes to the rear wheel LH. The fifth tube should detach from the first master cylinder and the sixth does the same with the second master cylinder. You should remove the 3 bolts that secure the brake actuator with its bracket without damaging anything nearby. Brake actuator assembly with VSC requires the same preliminary procedures of disconnecting the actuator connector followed by breaking the brake tubes before removing the 3 bolts and brake actuator with bracket. For the brake actuator bracket assembly without VSC workers need to detach the 3 bolts but those performing work on assemblies with VSC must disconnect all 4 hardware pieces.

Use a union nut wrench to separate the 6 brake tubes from the brake actuator.
