First install the brake actuator bracket assembly by using three bolts that require 5.4 Nm torque measurement (55 kgf-cm or 48 in-lbf). Before tubing connection it is necessary to leave the hole plug in position because new actuators contain brake fluid and you should not carry the actuator using the connector. The brake actuator needs to be installed with its bracket using 3 bolts which should receive 19 Nm (194 kgf-cm, 14 ft-lbf) torque but also needs meticulous care to prevent damage to brake tubes or wire harness. Install 6 brake tubes to the brake actuator by using union nut wrench (10 mm) and union nut wrench (12 mm) and tighten them to 15 Nm (155 kgf-cm, 11 ft-lbf for M10 nut) and 20 Nm (199 kgf-cm, 14 ft-lbf for M12 nut). Users must lock the brake actuator connector securely before connection to achieve smooth operation that excludes entry of water oil and dirt. Finally, insert the battery carrier followed by the battery tray and battery before filling the reservoir with brake fluid. After filling the reservoir with brake fluid perform bleeding on the master cylinder and brake line and brake actuator before inspecting for fluid leaks and checking the fluid level. Remove the battery, battery tray, and battery carrier.

Connect the brake actuator connector, install the battery carrier, battery tray, and battery, then fill the reservoir with brake fluid.

Reinstall the battery carrier, battery tray, and battery, fill the reservoir with brake fluid, bleed the master cylinder and brake line, check the fluid level in the reservoir, inspect for brake fluid leakage, and verify the actuator with an intelligent tester.

Disengage the clamp, move the lock lever to release the lock, and disconnect the brake actuator connector, taking care to prevent brake fluid from entering the removed connector.
