How to service the Air Bag Control Module on Toyota Sienna?

A proper service of the Air Bag Control Module requires users to review all indicated precautions. Before fitting the Air Bags disconnect the cable lead from the negative terminal of the battery for 90 seconds. The technician must first separate the instrument panel finish panel sub-assembly lower LH while also taking out the floor carpet cover center LH and the floor carpet cover center RH using standard methods for both parts. The service starts with glove compartment door assembly extraction followed by removal of instrument panel box No.2 followed by both instrument cluster finish panel assembly center units and the instrument cluster finish panel sub-assembly lower center. The technician must uninstall air duct No.4 rear followed by air duct No.3 rear and air duct No.1 rear. After disconnecting the 3 connectors from the center Air Bag sensor assembly you should take out its 3 retaining bolts and the assembly itself.
