How to install the Hood Release Cable assembly on Toyota Matrix?

Complete the Hood Release Cable assembly installation by passing it into the engine compartment followed by passing it through the upper radiator support before clamping it according to the illustration. The Hood Release Cable lever installation process should be followed by cable connection to the Hood Release Cable. The hood lock assembly needs MP grease on its sliding sections before you connect the Hood Release Cable and fasten it using three bolts at 7.5 Nm (77 kgf-cm, 66 in-lbf). Check and adjust the assembly of the hood sub-assembly after inspection. Handle the front fender liner installation by first putting 3 new grommets then using 5 screws and afterward adding 9 clips before inserting the pin hold clip. Finally, install the front wheel.
