First you need to take off the inner rear view mirror by prying out the clips and pulling it upward along with the sun visors, holders, and front pillar garnish. Disassemble the wiper arms by first undoing their 2 head caps then 2 nuts. Pull off the cowl top ventilator louvers through steps that include removing the hood to cowl top seal and 7 clips. First remove the assist grip and then handle the front side of the roof headlining before carefully cutting off the windshield moulding to protect the body from harm. Push piano wire between body and glass inside the vehicle to secure its position before taping it to save the glass from scratches. Trim the body contact area while keeping adhesive in place and prepare the glass by taking out defective stoppers, damage and glue. Set up new stoppers and a new dam at the glass surface then use a suction rubber to position the glass properly. Before moving ahead, mark reference points on the glass surface while making sure all contacts parts line up. Apply Primer "M" to the body surface areas before permitting it to dry for 3 minutes. Prep the glass edge with Primer "G" and quickly wipe off any residue when dry. Install the windshield glass in the right position and normalize contact by pressing lightly. Adjust any surplus adhesive with a spatula during the process. Complete the windshield moulding installation before the adhesive hardens and hold it in place with protective tape until permanent. Look for leaks after the specified hardening period and place back the roof headliner front side along with assist grip, ventilators, front to top seal and wiper arms before reinstalling the mirror on the inner side and tightening wiper nuts to 20 N.m with positions set at 34 mm.
