How to install the blower motor on Scion tC?

Install the blower assembly with claw as illustrated. Secure with one bolt and three screws; torque bolt to 9.8 Nm (100 kgf-cm, 7 ft-lbf). Connect three connectors. Install air duct and ECM, then lower and upper instrument panel sub-assemblies. Reconnect negative battery cable, initialize, and verify SRS warning light.

How to service and repair the blower motor on Scion tC?

In order to service the blower motor, detach the upper instrument panel, lower assembly, ECM and air duct. Take out servomotor, air filter case and disconnect the blower assembly. Un-attach the blower motor control and sub-assembly. Install back in order making sure there is the appropriate torque on the bolt and that everything is attached.
