    A: The first step for installing the 2AZ-FE engine control Crankshaft Position Sensor begins with checking the O-ring for damage. Apply engine oil to the O-ring followed by sensor installation where the bolt needs a torque setting of 9.0 Nm (90 kgf-cm, 80 in-lbf). The next stage includes attaching the clamp to the wire harness and the clamp to the sensor connector followed by sensor connector integration. The sensor wire harness needs to be securely fastened to the wire harness clamp bracket which rests behind the timing chain cover rib. The generator assembly should be installed first while the installation continues with the fan and generator V belt. Pass the cable to the negative terminal of the battery while inspecting for any engine oil leak. Before completion install the front fender apron seal RH then do initialization while remembering that some systems need initialization steps after removing the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.
