How to replace Liftgate Lift Support on 2009 Toyota Sienna?

The back door support removal starts with taking out the 2 bolts and disconnecting the stay from the body panel on the LH side of the back door stay sub-assembly. You must first disengage these clips with the screwdriver before taking out the stay from the door panel and uninstalling the bolt on the door panel. Apply the same steps to both sides of the support as used on the left-hand site.
