  A: Before starting the procedure to remove the throttle body assembly out of the 1NZ-FXE engine control system one should disconnect the negative battery cable and let it wait for a minimum of 90 seconds to avoid Air Bag and seat belt pretensioner activation. The first step involves taking off the engine under cover LH followed by draining engine coolant. Uninstall the radiator support opening cover after removing its 6 retention clips. Start by disconnecting the MAF meter connector then the wire harness from the wire harness clamp after which the hose clamp bolt needs loosening to detach the No. 1 air cleaner inlet followed by removing the 2 bolts before finally loosening the hose clamp bolt to remove the air cleaner. To detach the throttle body assembly with motor requires disconnecting six components including the ventilation hose as well as the No. 2 ventilation hose and No. 1 fuel vapor feed hose alongside the water by-pass hose and No. 2 water by-pass hose before moving on to disconnect the throttle control motor connector and throttle position sensor connector.
