The process of taking out rear door window regulators requires disconnecting the negative battery terminal cable followed by a minimum 90-second wait to disable SRS system functions. Begin the repair by removing successively the rear door inside handle bezel then the rear door armrest upper base panel followed by the rear door trim board sub-assembly and then the rear door inside handle sub-assembly until lastly the rear door inner glass Weather Strip. Both versions of the rear door require service hole cover removal, followed by removal of Weather Strip, glass run, rear window guide sub-assembly and rear guide seal. The next step involves removing both the rear door glass sub-assembly followed by the rear door window regulator sub-assembly. To access the rear power window regulator motor assembly disconnect both terminals of the battery to terminal 1 then terminal 2. From there use a TORX driver (T25) to remove the three securing screws below.
