    A: The first step for installing the A750E automatic transmission park/neutral position switch requires you to mount the switch onto the manual valve shaft while securing it with a bolt. Place a new lock washer together with a new nut which you should tighten to 6.9 Nm (70 kgf-cm, 61 in-lbf) torque. Continue pushing the control shaft as toward the back as feasible followed by moving control shaft lever 2 notches to position N. After setting the neutral basic line into the switch groove you must tighten the bolt to 13 Nm torque (129 kgf-cm and 9.4 ft-lbf) and twist the tabs of the lock washer using a screwdriver. The next step includes connecting the park/neutral position switch connector followed by attaching the cable to the negative battery terminal which requires tightening to 3.9 Nm (40 kgf-cm, 35 in-lbf). Start by performing the initial procedure then check the shift lever position and correct it when needed before inspecting the park/neutral position switch assembly.
