Q: How to install the rear Window Motor assembly on 2008 Toyota Land Cruiser?
A: Start the rear power window regulator motor assembly installation by applying MP grease to sliding and all rotating components of the regulator motor. Push the 3 motor screws into place through the "TORX" T25 driver until the torque reaches 5.4 Nm (55 kgf-cm, 48 in-lbf). The new rear window regulator will generate its own screw holes through self-tapping mechanisms. The installation order starts with the rear door window regulator sub-assembly which must be followed by sequences of the rear door glass sub-assembly then the rear door quarter window glass then the rear door rear lower window frame sub-assembly. Afterward install the rear door glass run followed by the rear door service hole cover together with the rear speaker set. The installation order includes the rear inner door glass Weather Strip followed by the rear door trim board sub-assembly and after that the assist grip cover and lastly the rear door armrest base panel assembly. Complete the installation by attaching the rear door inside handle bezel while connecting its cable to the negative battery terminal.
