Before removing the steering wheel users must disconnect the battery cable and wait for at least 90 seconds to stop Air Bag and pretensioner activation. The first step requires removal of the steering pad and then proceed with taking out the cruise control main switch and steering pad switch. You need to remove the screw of the No. 1 steering wheel ornament then free the 2 claws and pin for removal. Disassemble the steering wheel and install the steering wheel lower boss cover by first removing its two screws and then breaking the claw.
