- Q: How to install the steering wheel and its components on 2008 Scion xD?A: Before installing the steering wheel you should first attach the clutch and then lock the steering wheel lower boss cover with a screw. First install the steering wheel and afterward put on the No. 1 steering wheel ornament by locking the claws and pin and put on the steering pad switch LH with the screw. Mount the steering pad switch followed by the cruise control main switch before installing the steering pad. Place the negative terminal cable with a torque of 5.4 Nm (55 kgf-cm, 48 in-lbf) before inspecting the SRS warning light.
