The procedure to replace rear wheel speed sensors starts by taking off the rear wheel first. The speed sensor rear LH needs to be separated from the axle hub by firstly removing its connector and secondly loosening the nut to extract it from the hub area while preventing any foreign debris from affecting the sensor tip or entering the installation hole. Fasten the new rear speed sensor onto the steering knuckle with its nut while applying 8.3 Nm (85 kgf-cm, 73 inch lbs.) of torque to the threads and clean the sensor tip before reconnecting the speed sensor connector. Follow installation by tightening the rear wheel with a torque requirement of 110 Nm while conducting a VSC sensor signal inspection.
