- Q: How to remove and install the front side marker light assembly on the LH side on 2006 Scion xA?A: The first step to remove the left hand side front side marker light assembly requires disconnecting the negative battery cable followed by a minimum 90-second waiting period to avoid air bag and seat belt pretensioner initiation. The first step requires removal of the radiator grille while subsequent actions involve taking off the front spoiler pad LH along with the front spoiler pad RH and front bumper cover. Remove the LH front side marker light assembly by uninstalling the 2 nuts along with the front marker light. Begin installation of the side turn signal light assembly LH by connecting its connector then fasten with 2 claws for security. Install the door mirror side turn signal light lens LH by attaching the connector and installing the 2 screws and attaching the 4 claws to fasten the cover. The work begins with installation of the outer rear view mirror assembly LH while reconnecting the cable to the negative battery terminal followed by system initialization because system programs need initialization after disconnecting and reconnecting the cable.
