Start the back door stay assembly replacement for the LH side by using a screwdriver to detach both stop rings and the stay. You should remove bolt A from the door panel yet keep the back door supported by your hands while you work. Start the body panel replacement by removing the B bolts along with the stay bracket. Attachment of the stay bracket starts with bolt installation followed by torque adjustment of the bolt marked B until it reaches 7.0 Nm (71 kgf.cm, 62 in.lbf). Put in the back door stay bolt to the back door after tightening it to 22.0 Nm (224 kgf.cm, 16 ft.lbf) on the bolt marked A. Secure the stay by inserting it into the two stop rings.
