- Q: How to replace the Antenna Cable Sub-Assembly on 2005 Scion xA?A: To replace the Antenna Cord Sub-Assembly, first remove the instrument panel sub-assembly, followed by the instrument panel assembly lower, front door scuff plate RH, rear door scuff plate RH, cowl side trim board RH, front door opening trim Weather Strip RH, rear door opening trim Weather Strip RH, center pillar garnish lower RH, rear seat back assembly RH, rear seat cushion w/cover pad sub-assembly (FF drive type), deck board No.2 (FF drive type), deck board No.1, deck trim cover rear, deck floor box rear (FF drive type), rear seat back hinge sub-assembly RH, and rear seat 3 point type belt assembly outer. The installation process starts with separating the deck trim side panel assembly RH and roof side garnish inner RH before disconnecting the connector and removing 18 clamps and extracting the antenna cord sub-assembly. To finish the procedure install the rear seat back hinge sub-assembly RH followed by the rear seat back assembly RH together with the instrument panel assembly lower and instrument panel sub-assembly.
