Take off the bleeder plug cap which protects the plug. Place the bleeder plug in position before torquing it to 8.4 Nm (85 kgf-cm, 74 inch lbs.). For the clutch release cylinder kit installation start by reinstalling the bleeder plug cap before adding the new spring and coating the piston with lithium soap base glycol grease before reinserting the piston and push rod and boot onto the cylinder body but remain watchful to prevent damaging the instrument directly behind it. Reinstall the clutch release cylinder assembly with two bolts while torquing them to 12 Nm (120 kgf-cm, 9 ft. lbs.) and add the flexible hose tube by torquing its bolt to 18 Nm (184 kgf-cm, 13 ft. lbs.). Connect the clutch release cylinder to the flexible hose tube through Special Service Tool: 09023-00101 while applying a torque of 15 Nm (155 kgf-cm, 11 ft. lbs.).
