Starting the replacement process for the IGNITION OR STARTER SWITCH ASSY (2AZ-FE) requires disconnection of the battery negative terminal. Remove the instrument panel finish lower panel LH as the second step. The first step involves removing the clamp and then disconnecting the warning switch connector and finally its ignition switch connector. The last step involves removing the 2 screws as well as the ignition switch. The process for installing the component follows an opposite sequence compared to removal.
