Handle the back door stay with extreme care to prevent damage to the piston rod and to stop paint or oil from touching it because turning the cylinder with the back door stay fully extended is not allowed. Secure the new back door stay to its body position with a torque of 17.5 Newton meters at 178 kilogram-meter centimeters and 13 foot-pounds force and attach it to the back door through a torque of 13 Newton meters at 133 kilogram-meter centimeters and 10 foot-pounds force.
