Starting radiator servicing and repair requires coolant drainage first. Start with hose removal of the radiator inlet and outlet then proceed to disconnect the oil cooler inlet hose on the A/T TRANSAXLE followed by disconnecting the oil cooler outlet hose on the A/T TRANSAXLE. You should remove the air cleaner inlet assembly by extracting its 2 bolts. The radiator support upper can be removed after disconnecting horn connectors then removing the hood lock release lever cover along with the illustrated bolt followed by securing the 4 bolts on the upper support. After disconnecting the fan motor connector you can extract the radiator assembly together with its fan component. Start by removing the fan assembly together with its motor after taking away the radiator support lower and its cushion. The first step for installation features the placement of the fan assembly with its motor onto the radiator while tightening bolts to 5.0 Nm (51 kgf-cm, 44 inch lbs.). Position the radiator support upper in place through the installation of 4 bolts which require a torque of 14 Nm (142 kgf-cm, 10 ft. lbs.). Adjust the hood sub-assembly, add coolant and conduct a leak check on engine coolant systems.
