  A: You must disconnect the front Air Bag sensor connector after removing the LH front end panel along with the headlight assembly. Keep the connector attached to the sensor assembly before disconnecting it. Begin sensor replacement by detaching three bolts from the resonator keeping a socket inside the sensor bolt then disassemble the front Air Bag sensor through two bolts. The same procedure applies on the RH side by removing the front end panel RH along with headlight assembly RH followed by front Air Bag sensor connector disconnection then removing 2 bolts to remove the front Air Bag sensor. For proper installation place the front Air Bag sensor inside the vehicle before torquing it to 20 Nm so it reaches 205 kg.cm or 15 foot pounds torque specifications. Replace both the sensor and its installed bolts because new bolts are required due to anti-rust treatment. The sensor requires a shake test for loose detection and the connector lock mechanism needs proper engagement for preventing malfunction codes during connector connection. The front Air Bag sensor connector needs to be connected before installing all removed parts back.
