The HVAC hose/line requires service by first draining all refrigerant materials from the refrigeration system. The replacement procedure includes installing a new tube or hose followed by an immediate fitment of caps at open connections to avoid system entry of moisture or dirt. Those connections must reach the listed torque requirements but users should stop tightening when reaching the specified limit. The technician must first remove the current air from the refrigeration system then add the required refrigerant amount of 430 plus or minus 30 g (15.17 plus or minus 1.06 oz.). A gas leak detector should be used to inspect for any refrigerant loss then the air conditioning system needs to be tested for proper operation.
