Dome Lamp

The first step toward servicing the dome lamp includes disconnecting the negative cable from the battery terminal then waiting at least 90 seconds to avoid activating Air Bags along with seat belt pretensioners. Begin the service by taking off the No.1 room light assembly. Serviceable steps include attaching the No.1 room light assembly followed by reconnecting the cable to the negative battery terminal while initializing the systems affected by cable removal and reconnection.

Start your repair and maintenance of the dome lamp by taking out the room light assembly from the luggage compartment. The use of a moulding remover unfastens the 2 claws on the room light so you can pull it out before disconnecting the connector. The second step requires the removal of the No. 2 room light bulb.

The service and repair process for the dome lamp starts by taking out the room light assembly found in the luggage compartment. The room light leaves its housing with the help of a moulding remover while releasing the 2 claws and removing the unit from the dome lamp before disconnecting the electrical connection. Take out the No. 2 room light bulb from the device.

Disconnect the cable from the negative battery terminal and wait at least 90 seconds to prevent airbag and seat belt pretensioner activation.
