Begin the front seatback heater removal process by disconnecting the negative terminal cable then permit the SRS system to become inactive for at least 90 seconds. The process starts with dismantling the front seat headrest assembly and moving to elimination of outer and inner seat track covers. You should start by removing the front seat assembly followed by the recliner adjuster release handle and vertical seat adjuster knob cap together with the vertical adjusting handle. Move on to remove the front seat cushion shield after taking away the front seat inner belt assembly. The next steps require removal of the front seat cushion inner shield together with the front seatback cover with pad and separate type front seatback cover. Cutting off all 4 tack pins will separate the front seatback heater assembly from its location.

Implementation of the front seatback heater assembly requires a tacker for inserting 4 tack pins between the end of the seatback cover. The installation begins by inserting the separate type front seatback cover and continues with the front seatback cover with pad along with the front seat cushion inner shield. Continue by installing the front seat inner belt assembly and follow it with the front seat cushion shield then the vertical adjusting handle while also installing the vertical seat adjuster knob cap and reclining adjuster release handle. Before finishing up install the front seat assembly while conducting a safety check of the front seat slide adjuster lock. To finish installation the procedure requires installing first the front seat headrest assembly after you put on the outer and inner seat track covers. Once you connect the cable to the negative terminal while checking the SRS warning light (with front seat side Air Bag installed).

Disconnect the cable from the negative battery terminal and wait at least 90 seconds to disable the SRS system.
