Service and repair activities on the compressor clutch should start with engine idle operation and A/C activation for 10 minutes followed by shutting down the engine then removing the negative cable from the battery. First discharge the refrigerant from the refrigeration system then remove the engine under cover and take off the drive belt. It is essential to remove the 2 bolts holding discharge and suction hoses then immediately put caps on open fittings to avoid moisture or dirt access into the system. The technician should disconnect the connector and remove the 3 bolts to extract the front drive shaft LH combined with the compressor. To install the compressor fasten it with three bolts that require 49 Nm (500 kg.cm and 36 ft.lb) torque before reattaching the connector. Moreover you must secure the discharge and suction hoses by linking them together with 2 new O-rings that need to be coated with compressor oil before applying 2 bolts at 10 Nm (100 kg.cm, 7 ft.lb). Maintain the hoses in this condition until you remove the caps. The drive belt installation and negative (-) terminal cable reconnection emphasizes the evacuation of refrigerant air before adding a specific amount of 650 plus or minus 50g (22.93 plus or minus 1.76 oz.) charge. To finish the procedure inspect for leaks using a gas leak detector and check all joint torques after finding any leakages before testing air conditioning function.

Use Special Service Tool: 07112-76060 and a socket wrench to take off the shaft bolt, ensuring a torque of 13.2 Nm (135 kg.cm, 9 ft.lb).

Remove the 2 bolts and seal the openings with vinyl tape to prevent moisture and foreign matter from entering.

Inspect for refrigerant leakage using a gas leak detector, checking the tightening torque at the joints if any leakage is found, and inspect A/C operation.
