Stabilizer Bar, Rear

Begin sway bar kit installation by firstly putting the 2 sway bar bushes on the sway bar kit where sway bar bushes must settle outside the bush stopper area. Install the sway bar kit together with its 2 sway bar bracket covers by using 4 bolts that need to be torqued at 30 Nm (306 kgf-cm, 22 ft-lbf). Place the sway bar link assembly by first putting the sway bar link into the nut followed by torquing it to 70 Nm (714 kgf-cm, 52 ft-lbf); when the ball joint rotates with the nut maintain stability by using a 6 mm hexagon wrench at the stud. Secure the 2 No. 1 retainers and 2 cushions with the sway bar link placed inside a spanner before tightening a new nut to 15 Nm (153 kgf-cm, 11 ft-lbf). The installation procedure for the right-hand side mirrors that of the left-hand side. To finish the process install the rear wheel by tightening the bolts to 112 Nm (1,137 kgf-cm, 82 ft-lbf).

Install the front stabilizer link assembly on the left-hand side with 2 nuts, torquing them to 70 Nm (714 kgf-cm, 52 ft-lbf); if the ball joint turns with the nut, hold the stud with a 6 mm hexagon wrench.

Install the 2 stabilizer bar bushes onto the stabilizer bar, ensuring the bush is placed on the outer side of the bush stopper with the protrusion facing the inner side of the vehicle.

Begin by removing the front wheels and the engine under cover sub-assembly.
