    Start by removing the stabilizer bar links by taking off the 2 nuts and the stabilizer bar link, applying a torque of 44 Nm (449 kgf.cm, 32 ft. lbs.). If the ball joint turns with the nut, use a hexagon (5 mm) wrench to hold the stud. Repeat this process on the opposite side.

Then, use a torque wrench to turn the nut continuously at a rate of 2 - 4 seconds per turn and take the torque reading on the 5th turn, aiming for a turning torque of 0.05 - 1.0 Nm (0.5 - 10 kgf-cm, 0.4 - 8.7 inch lbs.).
