    Start sway bar kit service by taking off the front wheels then tighten them to 110 Nm (1,150 kgf.cm, 83 ft. lbs.). The sway bar links need disconnecting through the removal of lower suspension arm nuts which should be tightened to 69 Nm (700 kgf.cm, 51 ft. lbs.). A hexagon wrench should be used to stabilize the stud because it rotates with the nut. Remove the sway bar kit when you disconnect its 2 bolts and nuts and then take out the sway bar kit together with its bushings and brackets by applying a torque of 25 Nm (260 kgf.cm, 19 ft. lbs.). The installation of the 2 brackets and bushings to the sway bar kit should be done by positioning the bushings correctly with the cutout toward the front of the vehicle. To detach the sway bar links suck on the link while removing the nuts and retainers and bushings through application of 19 Nm torque (190 kgf.cm, 14 ft. lbs.). When inspecting the ball joint, start by turning the stud five times between back and forth motions before installing the nut then apply continuous turning pressure on the stud during a 2 - 4 second interval to receive the torque reading at the fifth turn which should range from 0.05 to 2.0 Nm (0.5 to 20 kgf.cm, 0.4 to 17 inch lbs.). The reverse procedure of uninstallation is executed for installation completion.
