How to remove the rear Tail Light assembly on the LH side on Toyota Prius?

The first step to remove the rear combination light assembly from the LH side requires disconnecting the negative battery terminal cable followed by a minimum 90-second wait period to avoid Air Bag and seat belt pretensioner activation. The first task includes removing the rear combination light service cover LH followed by removing the rear combination light assembly LH through its 2 nuts. Unsnap the 2 pins by sliding them towards the back of the vehicle until they release. After detaching the connector you can extract the rear combination light. The last step involves removing the 3 bulb sockets along with 3 bulbs from the rear combination light.
